Our wedding dog care and chaperone services are designed to take the stress out of planning your big day and to help make it a celebration to remember! We're experienced canine wedding planners - whether you want your dog to have a starring role as a ring bearer, or would like them around after the ceremony to capture some fabulous photos and have a cuddle, we've got you covered.
If you don't want your dog involved, or you have guests attending who also want to bring their dogs along for a break in the area, our Diamond Dog Sitting Service is perfect - just ask them to get in touch and we can arrange that care too.

Plan Your Pawfect Wedding Day
What makes us different?
Detailed planning
Our complete canine wedding planning service ensures we've agreed every detail with you before the big day so you can relax knowing we know exactly what we're doing. We'll take you through the information we need, offer guidance based on our vast experience of chaperoning dogs at weddings and highlight what you should consider at each planning stage with an initial Discovery Call and email communication throughout.
Bonding session
We insist on this important session with your dog(s) in advance of the special day for our full daycare services so that we can get to know your dog, which is vital for helping you and them feel content and comfortable on the day. We can schedule this as part of your other wedding preparation such as meal tasting at your venue or makeup trials. Not only is it important for your dog, it's also a great opportunity for you to meet us face to face too and confirm final plans.
For shorter care services or elopements, we can adapt this to a meet and greet session when you arrive for the occasion.
Dog-centred approach
Your dog's welfare and comfort is our top priority at all times. We provide an outstanding level of personalised care (following DEFRA's guidance) and are experts in helping your dog to remain calm and content in excitable surroundings.
Dedicated one-to-one care
If you have two or more dogs, there will be be two of us attending the wedding, so your dogs are well supervised throughout. We don't take any other bookings on your special day so individual care and attention is guaranteed!
Tailored care based on your dog's requirements
We develop their day based around what they enjoy doing, whether that be adventuring on the local trails, having a slow and sniffy Sniffari, playing games, quietly snoozing in our comfortable home, or all of the above! Tell us what they love doing and we'll plan their day accordingly to fit around their visit to your wedding. We always build in time to ensure they're clean, brushed, dressed and looking dapper, ready to be at the venue in good time!
Evening care and sleepovers
Evening care or sleepovers on the day of the wedding are available as an add-on for most services (subject to availability). Our comfortable home is licensed to care for dogs with a 5-star rating by Westmorland and Furness Council. It has all the creature comforts you would expect for your loved one.

No hidden costs - your personalised quote is inclusive of everything noted; an additional mileage charge of 45p per mile will be applied to collection to/from locations over 20 miles from our base in Ambleside.

Platinum and Platinum Lite
This exclusive service allows your dog(s) to be present at your wedding ceremony and maybe have a special role such as ring bearer or dog of honour - chaperoned by us to ensure they're happy and all their needs are met.
We'll work out all the details with you beforehand so everything runs smoothly on the day - and we can advise you on what works well, taking into account their personality and temperament.
After the ceremony, we'll continue to supervise your dog(s) whilst your photographer captures those special images that will provide a lasting memory of their presence on your day.

Gold and Gold Lite
If you would love to see your dog(s) on your big day after your ceremony and get some photos with them as a lasting memento, then this service is perfect for you!
We'll ensure they have a great time with us so you can enjoy your wedding worry-free.
We'll return them to the venue after the ceremony so you can see them and we'll work with you and your photographer to ensure you have some great wedding photos of you and your dog together.

Elopement Service
Our tailored service is designed to support you if you're planning an elopement in the beautiful Lake District.
Whether your venue is dog friendly or not, we provide a service that enables you to enjoy the event knowing your dog is having a fabulous time in our care.
We'll work with you to arrange your dog's involvement in your special occasion such as attending the ceremony and/or taking part in photos.
We're proud to work with many of the area's very best elopement locations and will liaise with your venue and photographer so everything works smoothly on the day.

Diamond Dog Sitting
This service provides outstanding one-to-one care for your dogs in your accommodation or in our licensed home while you enjoy your special day, or attend a family or friend's wedding.
This might be a good option to consider if you're getting married and would prefer not to have your dog involved in the day or think it would be better for them not to be involved.
We tailor our care based entirely on your dog's needs to ensure they're having a great time so you can enjoy the special day worry free.
